We have our old favorites for if you want to learn how to sew and get to know your way around the sewing machine.
The course if you want to learn to sew
For this we offer a 7 week sewing course for beginners starting on the 24th February and we also do Saturday workshops for beginners. The next one is Saturday 15th March.
If you want more after your beginners course there is a intermediate sewing course to really get your teeth into it. There is one starting on the 25th February.
For anyone who would like to know more about how to make your own clothes there is a dress making master-class on the last weekend in April. Fore more details see here.

Freehand Machine Embroidery Workshop.
We also offer Freehand Machine Embroidery classes, a great way to draw with your sewing machine and feel free and creative. It is a wonderful creative technique which has endless possibilities.

New Creative Textiles Course.
We offer a very exciting new course which gives the opportunity to experiment with fabrics in conjunction with other materials like paper, plastics, wood, rubber, threads, etc.
We will be working through the use of pattern, colour, design & texture to create new ideas and learn new skills. Students will enjoy learning to look at and explore the creative potential of materials mentioned above. There is a possibility to print, stitch, layer, manipulate, print, slash, dissolve, paint, draw & design.
This course is made up of 3 seperate sessions which spread out over a 6 week periode starting on saturday 8th March.
Journal Cover
If you fancy making a nice cover for a note book, journal or to give as a present we offer a workshop. See here for dates.
Also there are ongoing sewing classes on offer during the day in term time on a Tuesday and Wednesday morning. Also know as the make-whatever-you-want-class. So any project that you have lying around and wouls love to finish or you want to learn new techniques you welcome to join us.
